| The Everglades has a very large population of Goliath Grouper. They can be caught anywhere from 1 to 500 Pounds. Normally we try to target fish from 20-80 Pounds. These shots were taken while filming an episode for the television show Addictive Fishing with Host Captain Blair Wiggins |
| We had a blast pulling on those awesome fish all day long until we finally ran out of bait. My bait of choice is the Jack Crevalle. Normally I will use anywhere from 80 to 300 Pound Braided line on massive conventional reels to really give us a good shot at bringing him up. |
| Goliath Groupers can be caught all year round in South Florida. Even on the worst weather days we still have a good shot at being able to catch a few of these beasts. But I have to warn you. You better take all your vitamins and eat your wheaties before you attempt to pull on anything that has the name Goliath! |
